In June of 2021, the Museum will mount a series of exhibits at the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, at the mouth of Penobscot Bay. The exhibits will provide an overview of maritime pets throughout history and will also feature some famous mascots from Maine Lighthouses.
The Museum's representatives offer on-line talks and video presentations throughout the year, and we hope to resume our normal exhibits and demonstration programs at boating and pet events once the Covid situation is regulated and it is safe to gather socially.
The Museum also participates in local pet-related educational and rescue programs.
In addition, the Museum offers breed-specific educational programs and sailing safety workshops for people who work and sail with their pets, and It supports rescue efforts for pets who have lived and worked at sea.
If your group or organization would like to sponsor a program or talk, please contact us! We have portable exhibits, several videos and power point presentations we can offer.
Library and youth programs are available year-round, featuring stories and exhibits about maritime pets throughout the ages and from around the world. Call or email to arrange a program for your group. 410-829-6616 email@example.com
